Looking for inspiration for a clothing project? We love to create model garments to showcase ways to use some of our favorite fabrics and clothing patterns. Throughout our store you'll find model garments displayed as complete ensembles - usually even accessorized with purses and hats. In this section you'll find some of our Women's Clothing models with links to the patterns and fabrics we used to create them.

Laurelhurst is such a fun jacket pattern to make from a knit fabric. It has an interesting and fun construction technique. All the outer edges are raw so it's a quick finish. It looks great out of our Bamboo Shibori knits from Telio

Shibori Bamboo Knit

Montlake by Straight Stitch Designs is one of our favorite patterns for knits. It can be made in lots of different lengths and has many choices for the sleeve length.
The fabric we chose this time is our Shibori Bamboo knit from Telio out of Canada. This fabric is a dream to wear.
The care is easy with machine wash cold and dry on low heat.

Artist in Motion is one of our most used patterns. We love the top only and we love it with the vest over it.
In this garment we mixed rayon batik with homespun and have a wonderful mix of textures.

We combined one of our favorite patterns, Artist in Motion by Cutting Corners with our newest handwovens, Loominous, by Anna Marie Horner.
This combination is stricking. Wear it over black jeans and you have a great outfit.

Our Batik Rayon Small Change Vest showcases the Small Change Vest from Sewn Square One. This free-flowing vest pattern is perfect for the beautiful drape of our batik rayons.

Gathered Top by Indygo Junction
Sku #: MOD-GATHER-TOP
Click here to order the pattern and fabric to make this top.
Gathered Top by Indygo Junction is a wonderful pattern in either the top or tunic lengh expecially when paired with rayon Batik. The rayon batik flows and the gathered back is flattering. In a heavier fabric it would just be too bulky.

Hudson Top from Striped Shot Cotton
Sku #: MOD_HUDSON
Click here to order the pattern and see additional fabric choices.
We chose one of our favorite tops for this lightweight striped shot cotton. The Hudson pant and top is a often used pattern in our shop. The cowl neckline is a great addition for a fall outfit.

Light and Shadow model
Sku #: MOD-LT-SHADOW
Click here to order the fabrics and pattern to make this top.
We used the Louise Cutting pattern Light and Shadow to make this top combination. The under blouse is Loominous Tribe and the cowl neckline vest is Loominous Checkered Past.
These handwoven fabrics are lightweight and drape well. Both are machine washable.

Gallery Tunic
Sku #: MOD-DIG-LINEN
Click here to order the pattern and see the digital printed linens.
We have always loved linen fabrics, but had such a hard time finding any printed linen. Now we have a wonderful source for it and have many choices.
We used the Gallery Tunic pattern to make this soft and flowing long tunic. We did add 3 small buttons to the placket for a bit more finished look.

In a Pinch Vest & Gallery Tunic
Sku #: MOD_PINCH
Click here to order the pattern and fabric used in this model.
We used two great patterns for this combination. The vest is "In a Pinch" by Louise Cutting and the plaid shirt underneath if the Gallery Tunic and Loominous from Anna Marie Horner.

Hale Jacket
Sku #: HALE-JACKET
Click here to order the fabric and pattern.
The jacket from this project combines the Flame Hale 54" wide, 100% polyester fabric from Mill Creek with Wear With All Jacket Pattern. The label suggests Dry Cleaning, but we machine washed and dried this fabric before constructing the jacket and it looks great.
